Test Shots: Part 2 (Still image)

On they day of the group booking at AG.07 we started experiment with taking still shots and projecting them on the model and taking further photo,

We took this further and began to play with colour, we used colour black set in the computer and project through the projector and we also used a colour gel they we placed infant of the project to see how the light is affected.

The colour in this photo was created using a colour in the computer that was sent to the projector.

Here a green gel was placed in-front of the project. It was very interesting so see how the shadows took the the colour of the gel.

In this test photo, this shows a third layer of colour gel being used. As there was a artefact in the red gel is shows on the left side of the shot.

After playing with Bocks of Colour we decided to try some slow shutter shots, The preliminary idea was to use a glow still or sparkle light to create written word. With inspiration From Jenny Holzer an with the use of Led scrolling test neon colour sign. We wanted to Create a feeling, using a similar concept, We moved up a moving word to be played back through the project over a subject that a photo was taken at a slow shutter speed.

This is the Test shot of how the word and its path is visible with slow shutter speed.

We begin test this concept with Model to see how the projection interact.

Another Photo with the use of slow shutter speed blurring the path of the Words. We notice if the word is static for split second its is more visible and can be read form it starting position.

Here we began adding different directions and multiple words in different colours.
